Hatem al-Bakri
Sheikh Hatem al-Bakri (حاتم البكري), born in 1964, is a prominent religious figure who preaches at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron. He became minister for religious endowments in January 2022, serving in the Palestinian Authority government of prime minister Mohammad Shtayyeh. He is also an Islamic judge and president of the Islamic Charitable Association in Hebron.
