Maged Abu Ramadan (Minister of Health)
Doctor Maged Abu Ramadan (ماجد أبو رمضان), from Gaza, is the Palestinian Authority’s minister of health. He is an ophthalmic surgeon and a former advisor in the ministry of health. He was the mayor of Gaza City between 2005-2008. Doctor Abu Ramadan trained at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a member of the board of trustees of St John’s Eye Hospital in East Jerusalem.
