Areej al-Ashqar
Areej Fadhil Eed al-Ashqar (أريج الأشقر) is a member of the Politburo of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP). She stood in the cancelled May 2021 legislative elections as part of the DFLP’s ‘Democratic Change‘ electoral list. Al-Ashqar heads the Union of Women’s Work Committees in Gaza.
