Joanna Hosa is the programme manager of the Wider Europe programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
Hosa joined the ECFR Wider Europe programme in September 2016. Previously, she worked on human rights in Eastern Europe and Central Asia with the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) in Paris and on EU peacebuilding policies with the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) in Brussels. She interned at the Open Society European Policy Institute (OSEPI) and at the European Commission, dealing with EU relations with the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
She has also done research for the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) and the pan-European volunteer project Asylos.
Hosa holds an MA in German and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in European Studies from the College of Europe.
