The Central-Eastern Mediterranean has become stage for several sources of crises  that need to be faced, managed and overcome. The management and exploitation of natural resources - starting from energy and water - environmental issues, technological innovation, the Blue Economy represent a concrete ground from which to begin in order to deal with these conflicts. A mighty wave, that allows for the development of new dynamics of cooperation both at the interregional level as well as with Italy and Europe, can and needs to develop from civil society, besides national and local institution, and - in the first place - from the entrepreneurial forces and cultural and scientific organizations.
