Public debate to launch the European Foreign Policy Scorecard 2012 at the CERI Sciences Po
Alice Richard is ECFR's China Programme co-ordinator. She works on increasing ECFR's profile in this area, expanding the programme's activities and contributes to ECFR's China research. After working briefly for the political section of the EU delegation in Beijing in 2007, she first joined ECFR in March 2008 to co-ordinate the research and publication of ECFR's report A Power Audit of EU-China Relations. She returned to ECFR in 2010 after a year in the Democratic Republic of Congo managing partnerships for the humanitarian NGO MAG International. Along EU-China relations, her research work focuses on China's presence in Africa and implications to China's foreign policy.
A French and British national, Alice studied in Paris, majoring in political sciences at Ecole Normale Supérieure, and in international relations at Sciences Po. During her studies, she interned with the French Treasury's department for international institutions and with Amnesty International's EU office in Brussels.
