Pawel Zerka is policy fellow and programme coordinator of the European Power programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
Zerka is economist and political scientist, with expertise in EU affairs and Latin American politics and economy. He has joined ECFR's Paris office in August 2017, previously working as expert and head of programmes at two leading Polish think tanks, demosEUROPA-Centre for European Strategy (2009-2016) and WiseEuropa (2016-2017). His latest publications include ‘The 2019 European election: How anti-Europeans plan to wreck Europe and what can be done to stop it’ (with S. Dennison, ECFR Flash Scorecard, February 2019), and ‘Europe’s underestimated young voters’ (ECFR Commentary, May 2019).
Zerka holds a PhD in economics and MA in international relations from the Warsaw School of Economics, having also studied at SciencesPo Bordeaux and Universidad de Buenos Aires.

She is joined by Simon Hix, Pro-Director for Research and the Harold Laski Professor of Political Science at the London School of Economics, Susi Dennison, senior policy fellow and the director of ECFR's European Power programme and Pawel Zerka, policy fellow and programme coordinator of the European Power programme at ECFR.
