Yuri Slezkine is Professor of Russian history and Director of the Institute of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and currently visiting fellow at Oxford. He's an author of several books, the latest being "The House of Government: A Saga of the Russian Revolution". In his talk, he explores the Bolsheviks under lockdown: isolation and self-isolation in the name of collectivism.
