On 16 June ECFR China expert Francois Godement is participating in a conference on "Europe/China: Facing our common challenges" organised by the French Directorate-general of the Treasury in Paris.
This high-level event, the first of an annual series of "Treasury Talks" hosted by Christine Lagarde, the French Minister of the Economy, Industry and Employment, brings together a panel of distinguished speakers, including: Dominique Strauss-Kahn (Managing Director of the IMF), Anne-Marie Idrac (French Minister of State for Trade), David O'Sullivan (Director-General for Trade at the European Commission), Kong Quan (Chinese Ambassador to France), and Jean-Pierre Raffarin (former French Prime Minister).
Francois Godement's presentation will focus on "Europe/ China: towards a special relationship in globalisation".
