ECFR named 'Best new think tank in last 5 years' by Foreign Policy Magazine

Foreign Policy Magazine has named the European Council on Foreign Relations as the world's "Best New Think Tank in the last five years" in its January/February 2009 edition.

Foreign Policy's Think Tank Index claims to be "the first comprehensive ranking of the world's top think tanks".  It is based on a worldwide survey of hundreds of scholars and experts who have examined over 5,000 think tanks in 170 countries and ranked them in different categories.
