The European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) in London is recruiting a Development Officer.

The ECFR is a new and exciting charity dedicated to making an impact by research and advocacy at high level on the big European issues of today. Our work covers the euro crisis, the Arab Spring, Europe’s relationship with China, and the need to reinvent Europe if it is to retain an influential voice in the 21^st century. Our fundraising has been phenomenally successful over the past year, and as Development officer, you will be invited to join this successful team and help raise our game, involved in both grant applications and the cultivation of corporate donors and wealthy individuals. Based in London, your fundraising will also support ECFR’s activities in Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Madrid, Warsaw, and Sofia, with appropriate travel and international communication as part of this post.

INTERNSHIPS AT ECFR

The European Council on Foreign Relations runs a internship scheme in its offices. The role varies, but may include research assistance, administrative tasks and organisational work. The duration of the internships varies from 3 to 6 months. Candidates should be recent graduates or current students in International Relations, Politics, European Studies or other related disciplines, preferably with a proven understanding of EU institutions, office skills and languages. They should be fluent in English and the national language of the office to which they are applying. The scheme is unpaid but we do make a modest contribution towards travel and other expenses. All internship opportunities will be advertised on this website and interested candidates should send their applications directly to the relevant office.

Berlin
