EU warned about transatlantic 'illusions'

As Europe starts putting together its new diplomatic service, it needs to emancipate itself from US foreign policy and start speaking with one voice if it is to avoid slipping into irrelevance, British and US experts said on Tuesday (24 November).

Presenting a new report on 'a post-American Europe', US analyst Jeremy Shapiro and his British colleague Nick Witney said the EU has not yet come to terms with the post-Cold War international order. Click here for more.
