For the second year running, the most comprehensive ranking of the world's leading think-tanks has named ECFR the ‘Best new think tank in the last 5 years'.
ECFR is also listed as one of the best think tanks in the world outside the US.
The ranking is based on a worldwide survey of hundreds of scholars and experts who have examined over 6,300 think tanks in almost 170 countries and ranked them in different categories.
The survey, 'The Global "Go-To Think-Tanks" 2009' is carried out under the leadership of Dr James McGann at the University of Pennsylvania.
